LIVE AT HER MAJESTY´s - 21st March 2010
Theatre express are set to perform on a West End stage once again on 21st March. We will be performing 3 numbers in the show that we will rehearse in our studios here in Spain. Open auditions will take place on 17th January 11- 1pm and 25 talented performers between the ages of 8 and 18 will be chosen to represent us in this years show held at the very famous Her Majesty´s theatre in London. This is a wonderful opportunity for aspiring performers but one that needs total commitment from both the participants and their families. Full information will be given on audition day. Shirley Valentine Dinner Theatre Tour
A witty, British look at one woman's triumph over traditional gender roles, boredom, and the empty nest.
Inside Mrs. Joe Bradshaw -- 42 year-old mother of two grown children -- is the former Shirley Valentine longing to get out. Her hope and self-confidence badly shattered by school, marriage and life, she is reduced to talking to the kitchen wall whilst preparing her husband's evening meal -- to be on the table as he opens the front door every night. As she sips a glass of wine she dreams of drinking in a country where the grape is grown. Her feminist friend offers her a holiday in Greece and, with great trepidation and a lot of forward planning, Shirley seizes the opportunity and goes, to encounter a totally different lifestyle. Shirley, breaking out of the mould cast for her by society, is brilliantly shown with humour, warm sympathy and human insight by the author of Educating Rita, Breezeblock Park and Blood Brothers
