Theatre Express classes and timetable

Choose the class you are interested in from the selection above.
Theatre Express offers children between the age of 4 - 18 the opportunity to train in the three major performance disciplines of drama, dance and singing, taught by specialist teachers.
Acting classes incorporate:
acting games, performance skills and interpretation of classical and modern text, devising, improvisation, LAMDA, physical theatre, play reading, scene study, movement and vocal technique.
Children are trained towards LAMDA examinations in:
- Acting
- Mime
- Speaking of Verse and Prose
- Group Devising
Advanced Acting for 14yrs +
For LAMDA medal standard students who require a more serious approach.
These classes will incorporate:
- intensive actor training using a wide genre of classical and modern texts and methodology
- improvisation and physical theatre
- Voice training
- audition and examination preparation including the LAMDA diploma in performance studies.
- A season of plays suited to abilities within the group.
